On your wedding day, watch as the club is transformed into your private mansion. Majestic architecture provides a backdrop for a stunning celebration in any season. In the warmer months, convene for photographs in the park and the club’s gated courtyard. In Fall & Winter, enjoy the warmth of lush interiors and roaring fires. As your reception begins, delight in the creative, on-trend cuisine that has been tailored to your distinctive taste. Hosting just one wedding at a time, our seasoned events team and Maitre d’ are devoted to executing your long-awaited vision.
Our signature features
- Separate, unique spaces for each component of your day- Ceremony, Cocktails, Dinner and Dancing
- Two palatial ballrooms, the West Lounge & the Presidents’ Ballroom, overlooking Fifth Avenue, and equal in size (3,400 square feet) and accommodate up to 240 guests with dancing.
- For larger weddings with up to 320 guests or for clients who want a non-traditional reception, dancing can take place in the Great Hall, directly adjacent to the West Lounge ballroom.

The Metropolitan Club is an amazing venue with space organized into three areas. The Living Room features curved sofas, a grand piano, and a fireplace. The Transition area between the bar and the ballroom creates a Beautiful atmosphere of circular movement for guests to mingle. At the same time, they move into the Ball Room, which features a granite inset dance floor, and room for up to 400 guests for a seated dinner, or 800 guests for a cocktail-style reception.
Space can be further divided with moving walls to create more intimate areas if desired, or to create a specific flow throughout the event.
Formal or fun, the space is very flexible to meet your needs.
