This workshop aims to help you discover ways to work quickly, effectively, and thoughtfully to create images to maximize the location.

-The workshop will include live “bride & groom” models followed by constructive critique and discussion.
I will share some unforgettable tips you can use to shoot anything at any location. You will learn some tricks to create images that you never did before.

We will discuss all aspects of successful, creative wedding photography, with special attention to these areas:
How to work quickly and smartly to create the most fabulous images no matter what the location
How to work spontaneously and with flexibility
How to make quick, sound decisions on the wedding day
How to use your best instincts to approach and solve problems on the spot
WORKSHOP FORMAT–DISCUSSION AND DISCOVERY
I will work with you in informal, intimate group sessions, as well as in individual one-on-one sessions. The workshop will also include a practicum using the live bride and groom models, followed by constructive critique and discussion.

Portraits, including fundamental posing, couple posing, bride posing, groom posing, and bridal party and family posing; posing vs. not posing
How to make your photographs appear natural by giving your clients freedom to breathe and be playful with little direction
Creative use of various environments for portraits: problems and solutions
Light, shape, texture, and dimension, including indoor lighting both natural and artificial, and difficult outdoor light such as bright sun situations. (if the weather permits)
Review of images from the workshop and critique of the ten best images from your weddings
